A pre-marital program designed to prepare engaged couples and those considering engagement for a successful Christian marriage.

You must pass a test before you’re licensed to drive, yet you can get a marriage license for just a few bucks. A successful relationship requires more preparation than an elaborate wedding. During Prepare to Last, you’ll learn about yourselves and gain deep insights into what makes for a healthy relationship and a fulfilling marriage.

All of this takes place in an adventurous, fun-filled environment featuring ropes activities, time for personal reflection as a couple, and energetic worship.

Unstructured weekends for couples to experience whatever they wish from all that WinShape Retreat has to offer. Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is rest and relax. During this self-directed weekend, you can slip away as a couple to share a private retreat. A devotional notebook containing biblical principles for marriage will be provided to help you refocus on your most important earthly relationship. Enjoy quiet walks or get away on the bikes that are provided for you during your retreat.

Intensive counseling programs for couples in crisis to save and restore marriage.

Couples in Crisis

Couples Intensives are four day programs designed for couples in crisis who need healing and restoration.

WinShape Marriage has partnered with the National Institute of Marriage, Center for Relational Care and Battlefield Ministries to provide intensive small-group sessions to find lasting solutions to serious marital struggles by exposing the real root of the problem. Emotional connections are reestablished and couples rediscover safety in their relationship with each other, leading to true intimacy and genuine healing.

All programs run Sunday through Thursday and are held at the Normandy Inn of WinShape Retreat. Hospitality, comfort and confidentiality make this a time of safety and healing.

Mediterranean Sailing Adventure

Bubba and Cindy Cathy invite you to join them for a marriage enrichment Mediterranean sailing adventure on the S.V. Royal Clipper. The Royal Clipper is the world’s largest, full-rigged sailing ship. Amenities include a 3-deck atrium, spa, health club, and 3 salt water pools. Each air-conditioned cabin has at least one double bed and is equipped with a hair dryer, direct-dial phones, safe, and closets. You can take a virtual tour of the S.V. The romance of Italy and the echoes of an ancient world are a perfect backdrop for our pursuit of a Wholehearted Marriage. Be ready to be changed forever! Ports of call include: Civitavecchia (Port of Rome), Ponza, Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi, and Taormina (Sicily).

We will set sail from Rome the evening of May 14 and return to Rome the morning of May 21. Flights will need to arrive in Rome the morning of the 14th and leave the afternoon of the 21st.
